Job summary

Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is seeking a skilled Counsellor to join the Counselling Team within Student Services on a part-time basis. The postholder will support the coordination and delivery of a confidential, professional counselling service to students, working in line with the BACP Ethical Framework.

Applicants must hold a recognised counselling qualification and be BACP accredited, with at least two years post-qualifying experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised counselling qualification required.
• BACP accreditation essential.
• Minimum two years post-qualification counselling experience.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• Experience with one-at-a-time counselling models advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver confidential counselling services to students.
• Manage caseload and provide focused therapeutic support.
• Work within the BACP Ethical Framework and safeguarding policies.
