Job summary

Heron Foods in Cleckheaton is seeking a Store Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This hands-on role involves unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, greeting customers, and helping the team meet daily targets.

You’ll work four hours a week at up to £12.71 per hour, enjoy staff discounts, and have access to development programmes and wellbeing support as part of our inclusive, active workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, sales or hospitality is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Unload and organise deliveries to keep stock flowing.
• Stock shelves and keep them neat, tidy and fully stocked.
• Greet customers and offer assistance with a friendly, helpful approach.
• Work with the team to meet daily targets and maintain store standards.
