Toolstation in Barking is looking for a Store Apprentice to join our team. This role is 20 hours per week, with paid learning on the job, flexibility for early starts and late finishes, and local commuting requirements.

You will gain hands-on experience in customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and store operations while completing coursework with your apprenticeship coach. No prior retail experience required; a positive attitude and reliability are key.

Qualifications

• Local resident able to commute to Barking.
• Available for 20 hours per week.
• Not currently in government-funded education.
• Willing to start early and finish late.
• Interest in apprenticeship and learning on the job.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide excellent service.
• Assist with store operations: deliveries, stocking shelves, warehouse tasks.
• Keep store clean and well-organised for customers.
• Learn coursework weekly with manager and apprenticeship coach.
• Be reliable, flexible, and energetic.
• Support the team with various tasks as needed.
