Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Adult Community SLT team in Brent. This part-time role (22.5 hours/week) is a Band 6 permanent post, focused on domiciliary and outpatient assessment and management for adults with acquired communication or swallowing impairments.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration.
• Experience with neurological and long-term conditions in community settings.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and ability to work with MDTs.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and manage a complex neurological caseload with independent decision-making.
• Analyse communication and swallowing needs to plan home and community interventions.
• Demonstrate clinical effectiveness with evidence-based treatment and outcome measures.
• Lead SLT triage for new referrals as required.
