Mitchells & Butlers is hiring a part-time Sous Chef for the Ship Inn under the Ember Inns umbrella. You’ll run a kitchen section, train staff, and step up in the Head Chef's absence. The role offers flexible shifts, strong team leadership, and opportunities to progress within a trusted pub group.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef or senior kitchen role.
• Ability to lead a kitchen section and train staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead your section and ensure the team works together.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Chef supervision and team development.
• Ensure adherence to the branded menu.
