Mitchells & Butlers plc, via Ember Inns Ridgeway Tavern, invites a Part Time Sous Chef who loves great food, trains great people and leaves guests smiling. You’ll run a section and lead the team when the Head Chef is away. Does this sound like you?

Qualifications

• Previous Sous Chef experience in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
• Strong stock control and food ordering skills.
• Familiar with branded menus and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and guide the team to work as one.
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and hygiene.

You’ll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
