Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Chester is seeking a Part Time Sous Chef for Toby Carvery - Hoole Village. You will lead a section, train a team, and step in for the Head Chef when needed, driving teams to deliver great food and great hospitality.

You will help manage food orders, prep, and stock, while working within a branded menu and health and safety standards in a busy, guest-focused environment. The role offers flexible shifts and progression opportunities.

• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
