Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC, via Vintage Inns, seeks a Part Time Sous Chef at the Fox & Raven in Chelmsford. You’ll lead a section, train your team, and step up in the absence of the Head Chef to ensure service remains smooth and consistent.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef or in a senior kitchen role.
• Ability to train and motivate a team to deliver high-quality food.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Smash targets with your team and maintain high performance.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support the Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Work with a branded menu and ensure consistency across dishes.
• Lead Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
