Job summary

Age UK in Brighton is recruiting a Shop Supervisor to help run a busy charity shop and deliver a great customer experience. You will deputise for the Shop Manager, drive sales, manage stock and displays, and support daily shop operations.

The role requires a proactive team player with experience in customer service, cash handling, and lifting bags up to 10kg. 21 hours across a 7-day rota including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in working in a customer facing role.
• Experience of cash handling.
• Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg.
• The ability to work as part of an effective team.
• Be able to lone work when needed.
• Flexible approach to work including additional days for holidays and events

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales, stock rotation, displays and store tidying.
• Deputise for Shop Manager and Assistant Manager in their absence.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and represent Age UK professionally.
