The role entails working 16 hours per week quite flexibly between Monday to Friday. If you have experience in pensions administration, especially with DB pension schemes and possess skills in supporting and training others, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Working hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: ranges from pro rata ÂŁ32,000 to ÂŁ42,000 per annum, depending on experience. For a 16-hour work week, this translates to ÂŁ12,800 to ÂŁ16,800 per annum.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting a team in operational service delivery in accordance with client contracts, legislation, policy conditions, business rules and procedures, and within the legislative / regulatory framework.
  • Understanding client requirements and making every effort to ensure key performance indicators and quality standards are met.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of processes, procedures, and products.
  • Handling any complex queries that come through.
  • Understanding, building, maintaining, and enhancing stakeholder and/or client relationships.
  • Supporting the Pensions Team Manager in preparing for meetings and providing business MI.

What we’re looking for (ALL ESSENTIAL):

  • Pension administration experience with knowledge and experience of DB pension schemes.
  • Experience with calculations, payments and authorising work.
  • Strong team work ethic, with experience coaching and mentoring others.
  • Experience leveraging your pensions expertise to review and ensure the accuracy of others work.
  • Excellent numeracy and data inputting skills, with proficiency in performing manual calculations.
  • Telephone and computer literate (with experience using IT systems such as Microsoft Office Applications).
  • Skilled in managing complex queries and escalations.
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and quality management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including written communication skills in a variety of communication channels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and towards tight deadlines.
