Job summary

Hartford Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator in Chapel-en-le-Frith to design and deliver a varied timetable of activities for our residents, aiming to improve quality of life while upholding privacy, dignity and independence.

You will tailor activities to individual interests and ensure a happy, caring atmosphere, with a flexible, team-based approach. No previous experience is required as full training is provided, and the role is 29 hours per week at Hartford Care.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to tailor activities to individual residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide stimulating and meaningful activities for residents.
• Tailor activities to individual residents' skills, hobbies and interests.
• Lead chair exercise classes and other group activities.
• Accompany residents to local events or outings when appropriate.
• Engage residents in reminiscence and memory-based activities.
• Support a friendly, caring atmosphere focused on wellbeing.
