TeacherActive is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism/ASD and SEMH in Mansfield provisions. The role starts day-to-day with potential long-term placements, focusing on enabling confidence, independence and engagement in learning.

Requirements include TA qualification (Level 2/3 desirable), experience with additional needs, ASD/SEMH, strong behaviour management and a patient, resilient approach. On-site, part-time contract with competitive pay.

Qualificações

• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and/or SEMH.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different learning environments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with classroom activities and help pupils access their learning in a safe, supportive environment.
• Support pupils with ASD/SEMH and manage challenging behaviours.
• Contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere and effective teamwork.

Formação académica
