Job summary

Responsibilities include patrolling, incident reporting, and liaising with emergency services, with adherence to Mitie and DWP policies. Driving licence is a plus; previous security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have SIA DS licence and previous security experience.
• Full UK driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and property.
• Patrol premises regularly to identify potential security threats.
• Respond effectively to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide a high level of customer service and assist staff and visitors in security matters.
• Submit incident reports and maintain notebooks after any incident.
• Adhere to Mitie and DWP security policies and regulations.
• Report health and safety hazards on site promptly.
• Stay alert to threats and take action to reduce disruption or loss.
• Call emergency services when required and coordinate with the Communications Centre.
