Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have a proactive approach to managing office tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, providing support to staff and facilitating communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up to date. Prepare and organise documents, reports, and correspondence as required. Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for various administrative tasks. Assist with bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks as necessary. Maintain filing systems and ensure that all records are kept in an organised manner. Support the team with clerical tasks, including typing and document preparation.
Qualifications
Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficient typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks. Demonstrated clerical experience in a professional setting. A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the office environment.
