The RSPB is seeking a Centre Assistant for its visitor centre at Titchwell Marsh in Norfolk. This part-time, minimum 8-week position involves customer service, food and drink preparation, and maintaining cafe standards. Ideal candidates should demonstrate relevant experience and a commitment to ensuring an exceptional visitor experience.
Two positions are available:
Usual working days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday working 15 hours per week. Minimum contract length 8 weeks commencing August 2025.
Usual working days Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday working 20 hours per week. Minimum contract length 8 weeks commencing August 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy visitor centre at one of Norfolk's most amazing nature reserves. This is a fixed term (minimum 8 weeks), part-time position for a Centre Assistant at RSPB Titchwell Marsh.
You will mainly be based in our new cafe but may also be required to work in our shop, with opportunities for additional hours.
The main focus of the role is to serve customers food and drink and ensure they have the best experience possible. You will help maintain the cafe appearance and stock levels, process deliveries, operate the till, and respond to visitor enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
