24x7 Group is recruiting a Driver for Home to School Transport in the local area. You will provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults requiring special needs or vulnerabilities, with part-time hours and term-time shifts.

Role includes driving various vehicles (training provided), building positive rapport with passengers and school staff, and complying with safety procedures. DBS check and licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS Check.
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards.
• Right to work in the UK.

Salary: £540.00 - £860 per month (route dependent)

Hours: Range from 12.5 to 20 per week (route dependent)

Your Role

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

What You Need

• A valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK

This role involves driving children or conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability. The position therefore meets the definition of regulated activity under both child and adult workforce legislative wording and is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.
