A local educational institution is seeking a friendly and professional Part Time School Receptionist. Located near Ringwood, the role involves providing a warm welcome to visitors, managing incoming calls, and supporting administrative tasks. Moyles Court is seeking to appoint a friendly and professional part time receptionist and administrator. Moyles Court School is a co-educational day and boarding school located near Ringwood in the beautiful New Forest and offers education to pupils from 2½ to 16.
You will be responsible for providing a professional and welcoming first impression of the School to all visitors, parents and pupils, whether face to face or over the phone. As part of this varied role, you will answer telephone calls, deal with enquiries, and direct and advise callers as appropriate. You will also liaise between parents and teaching staff for messaging and exchanging information, generate various forms of correspondence and process all incoming and outgoing post.
You will also have excellent administrative skills and will be part of the school's highly committed administration team, supporting the work of the School Business Manager and Headmaster.
Good organisational skills, initiative, a friendly telephone manner and proficiency in the use of ICT are essential, as well as the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
The post is for three days a week (currently 9am -4pm Monday and 8.15am - 5.15pm Wednesday and Friday), term time 34 weeks plus up to 4 weeks in the holiday and occasional staff training days.
Salary will depend on experience. For 38 weeks £11,500 - £12,500.
