Job summary

Francis Holland Sloane Square is seeking a part-time School Nurse to join the pastoral team. The role is 2.5 days a week in term time, starting January 2027, with no weekend work and a focus on promoting pupils' physical health and emotional wellbeing.

The nurse will work alongside another nurse, handle first aid, and liaise with staff to ensure appropriate medical information is available for trips and events. DBS checks and safeguarding training are required for the role.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Post-registration experience in A&E, practice nursing, paediatric or school nursing.
• Willing to complete Level 3 Child Protection training.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Office hours 8:00–16:00 during school days; no weekend work.
• Collaborate with pastoral team to support wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Assist with medical information for trips, events and activities.
