Job summary

Chartwells UK&I is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (16 hours per week). You will play a key role in food preparation, cleanliness and brand representation, with opportunities to progress within a company that values its people.

We expect you to work flexibly, handle pressure, and comply with safety and hygiene standards. Applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks, including DBS and background screening before joining.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen environment preferred.
• Willing to comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
• Able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food.
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations.
