Chartwells is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (17.5 hours per week) contracted to 43.6 weeks per year. You’ll contribute to high-quality food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, operate equipment safely, and support deliveries, while upholding Chartwells’ brand and values.

Ideal candidates will work well under pressure, be reliable team players, and flexible to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with loading or unloading deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
