Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant for Chartwells on a part-time basis. The role is contracted to 16 hours per week across 43.6 weeks per year, with opportunities to progress within a company that values its people.

You will help prepare food to a high standard, keep the kitchen clean, and ensure safe operation of equipment. You’ll support deliveries and uphold Chartwells’ brand image while complying with hygiene and safety regulations.

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
