Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, contracted to 13 hours per week. You’ll play a central role in delivering great food, maintaining high kitchen standards, and representing our brand across schools.

This role is 42.6 weeks per year and sits within Compass Group UK&I. We invest in people, celebrate individuality and reward those who go beyond the plate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with loading or unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
