Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis (16.25 hours per week) contracted to 43.8 weeks per year. You will join a team that takes pride in their food, brand and people, with opportunities to progress within Chartwells and Compass Group UK&I.

The role requires delivering high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, operating equipment safely, and supporting deliveries. A DBS disclosure may be required.

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
