Compass Group UK&I's Chartwells division is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support operations on a part-time basis (10 hours per week). You will join a team that takes pride in the food, brand, and people, with opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people.

You'll work in a school or education setting as part of Chartwells, upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service while delivering delicious meals and representing the brand locally

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food service environment (implied by role).

• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
