Job summary

West Kirby School & College is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to help keep classrooms, corridors and communal areas clean and safe for pupils, staff and visitors.

The role involves supporting dining and kitchen areas, maintaining hygiene standards, and working as part of a close school team to respond quickly to cleaning needs.

Hours are part-time (15 hours per week) with shifts after school hours, and a commitment to safeguarding and contributing to a positive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning large facilities, preferably schools.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in workplace.
• Understanding of COSHH guidelines in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a safe, hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Serve and clear dining and kitchen areas.
• Maintain stores and equipment.
