Part-time School Counsellor | King’s Road

Job Description & Requirements

The services required are set out as follows:

1. Be involved in the case management team (CMT) meetings/operations to give feedback and updates on pupils (within the limits of confidentiality).
2. Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions for pupils who require counselling support.
3. Keep clear and up-to-date records of cases under monitoring (monthly reports for critical cases).
4. Work closely with SDT, CMT, and teachers to support the emotional well-being of the pupils under his/her guidance.
5. Manage cases as designated by Year Heads and Discipline Mistress.
6. Conference with staff, parents, and external professionals on students under his/her guidance.
7. Look into the referral of students and their families to community resources or external professionals when needed and work with external agencies to support the child.
