Job summary

Nova Education Trust at NUAST Nottingham is seeking a dynamic part-time Cleaner to support school operations. The role is 15 hours per week during term-time plus three weeks, with shifts Monday-Thursday 3-6pm and Friday 2:30-5:30pm.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting and occasional use of cleaning machinery. A heightened safeguarding DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, janitorial work preferred.
• Willingness to use cleaning machinery (buffing machine, scrubber dryer).
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare policies.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, emptying bins, wiping of furniture.
• Occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery such as buffing machine and scrubber dryer.
