Job summary

Reading Blue Coat School is seeking a diligent cleaner to join our facilities team on a part-time basis. The role covers offices, classrooms, dining areas and other spaces to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for pupils and staff.

You will work 16:00–20:00, Monday to Friday (20 hours a week). Training will be provided; experience is helpful but not essential. A willingness to support key school events on occasion is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning operations and health & safety awareness.
• Willingness to operate cleaning equipment; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment and materials to maintain a safe, hygienic school environment.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and work as part of a team or independently.
