Job summary

Tividale Hall Primary School is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the school environment. The role is part-time, 12.5 hours per week, from 15:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, reporting to the Site Manager.

The successful candidate will be trained on cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, sanitising touch points, and waste disposal, with COSHH and health and safety practices observed at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred but training provided.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Motivated with attention to detail.
• High expectations of themselves and the team.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise all areas of the school.
• Sweep, vacuum, and empty bins.
• Clean touchpoints such as door handles and rails.
• Follow COSHH and health and safety practices.
• Attend to spillages and maintain high cleaning standards.
