Job summary

Tottington High School, part of Shaw Education Trust, is seeking two Cleaning Assistants to join our friendly school team in Bury, Lancashire. You will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Contract is permanent, 15 hours per week across term-time weeks (TT plus 5 weeks). Actual salary is £25,220 - £25,614 under G2 SCP 8-10.

Qualifications

• Two reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Cleaning Assistants for Tottington High School.
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Reporting maintenance or health & safety issues to the site team.
