Job summary

Ver tas is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Walton Holymoorside Primary School, Chesterfield. The role involves cleaning toilets, wiping surfaces, and maintaining high hygiene standards for 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3.30pm–5.30pm, 38 weeks per year.

Applicants should be able to work independently, be prepared to obtain an Enhanced DBS, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork within the Vertas group.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it.
• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting.
• The ability to work as part of a team to provide excellent service across the Vertas Group.
• The ability to make the right decisions with Vertas in mind and adapt to a growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms.
• Wiping down tables and surfaces.
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas.
• Hoovering and mopping floors.
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
