Job summary

Place2Be is seeking a Supervising Counsellor for Laureate Academy serving London and Hertfordshire. The role focuses on assessment and referrals, supervising placement counsellors, and delivering direct therapeutic work with children across year groups.

The successful candidate will shape the clinical delivery of services within the school, with opportunities to share best practice in Place2Be's nationwide practitioner network and access extensive training and development.

Qualifications

• Qualified therapist/counsellor with at least 1 year of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and formulation of referrals; supervise placement Counsellors and oversee their work; deliver some therapeutic work with children and group/whole-class sessions; shape clinical delivery within the school.
