Job summary

The Ridings Medical Group is seeking a qualified Salaried GP to join our growing multi-disciplinary team. The role offers 20-30 hours per week (4-6 sessions) with a lighter clinical load and more administration time, across five flexible sites in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

We are a large training practice within River and Wolds PCN, research accredited and committed to staff development. The salary is £49.28 per hour, with part-time, flexible working; closing date 15 November 2026 and

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage change in an inclusive manner.
• Ability to work with other teams, providing support and leadership.
• Good standard of general education.
• MRCGP or equivalent.
• Qualified GP on Medical Performers List.
• Record of continuous professional development.
• Knowledge of the NHS and General Practice.
• SystmOne clinical software knowledge.
• Practical experience in primary care.

Responsibilities

• Agreed job plan as per BMA contract.
• Morning/Evening surgery.
• Patient enquiries/GP contact tasks.
• Dictation for referrals when needed.
• Streamlined electronic post and results.
• Patient visits—one per session max.
• Dispensary tasks related to patient contacts.
• Post-surgery discussions with colleagues as needed.
• Meetings: Significant Event, GP, Educational; remote MS Teams option.
• Medication reviews.
• Allocation of Enhanced Access hours across GP team.
• Student/Clinician support surgeries.
