Job description

Assumption Convent School is a well-established independent Catholic school for girls, located near Bedford Centre. The school follows a three-term calendar and writes the IEB matriculation examinations. The Sport Department invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of:

PART-TIME ROWING COACH

Start Date: 01 August 2025

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ coaching experience
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor an entire age group as an Age Group Head Coach
• Ability to develop and implement a training programme (or follow an existing one)
• FISA Level 1 or 2 qualification (preferred)
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with a PDP, or willingness to obtain these
• Commitment to being part of a successful and collaborative coaching team
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Willingness to support and uphold the Catholic ethos of the school
