Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Southampton is seeking a Casual Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will clean and service guest rooms to our high standards, change linens and replenish supplies while maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the area.

We offer a supportive environment, flexible part-time hours, staff meal on duty, and discounts on food, drink and stays across the group. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and you should be able to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Enjoys working in a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to the hotel’s high standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces in guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Reporting any defects found in the bedroom, corridors or public areas to the Head of department
