Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton Southampton is seeking a Casual Room Attendant to join our frontline hospitality team. You will clean and service guest rooms to the hotel’s high standards and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers part-time hours, weekend work, and staff benefits including hotel discounts, uniform provided, and access to our Leisure Club where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Enjoys working in a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to the hotel’s high standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces in guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Reporting any defects found in the bedroom, corridors or public areas to the Head of department.
