Job summary

schuh is hiring a Sales Assistant for our York Monks Cross store. This part-time role is 12 hours per week with full flexibility to fit around your life. You will deliver outstanding customer service, share in-depth product knowledge, process payments and orders, support stock and merchandising, and help with opening and closing procedures.

Training is provided. We offer a supportive team, staff discounts, and flexible hours to suit you.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Full training will be provided for the role

Responsibilities

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
