Brewers Decorator Centre in St Neots is seeking a friendly and reliable Part Time Retail Sales Advisor on a Fixed Term Contract. You will deliver exceptional service, help customers select products, and support store operations in a busy branch.

The role requires strong customer service and teamwork, with full training provided. The store hours are Monday–Friday, with weekend work as needed; it offers a competitive benefits package and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Approachable and friendly personality; ability to help customers and colleagues.
• Enjoys teamwork but can work independently.
• Willing to attend Fire Marshall/First Aider training if required.
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress in the industry.
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch to uphold Brewers’ reputation for quality service.
• Use product knowledge to recommend the best products for customers’ needs.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the Branch network.
• Develop sales of paint, wallpaper and decorating supplies.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandise to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
• Unload deliveries and keep the warehouse organised and safe.

We have a great opportunity for a friendly and reliable Part Time Retail Sales Advisor to join the team on a Fixed Term Contract at our Brewers Decorator Centre in St Neots. This is to provide exceptional service to our customers in our store. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

With a prominent location on Quora Retail Park to the south of the town and with easy access to the A1, our St Neots branch which opened in 2020 offers an extensive product range from its large and open showroom and features a comprehensive range of designer paints, wallcoverings, decorating supplies and materials - everything our customers need to create and complete their home decor projects. There is ample parking available due to the store’s location on a busy retail park. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

As a Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Developing sales of the Company product range including wallpaper, paint and fabric
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store
• Keep our Warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate
