Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd in Lincoln is hiring a Retail Assistant on a permanent part-time basis. The role covers 12 hours across 3 days per week, including weekends, with pay ranging from £10.95 to £12.81 per hour.

You will be part of a friendly team, receive 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, smart uniform and life assurance, and strong training and development opportunities. As an assistant you will greet customers, help locate items, serve at the till, handle stock and keep the shop clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, hard-working approach to work.
• Enjoys being busy with tasks such as deliveries, till service, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable as part of a small team; shifts require dependability.
• Flexible shifts; rosters planned three weeks in advance.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly hello and make them feel welcome.
• Help customers locate items they are looking for.
• Provide fast, friendly till service and assist with packing.
• Handle stock and deliveries, placing products on shelves and in freezers.
• Maintain daily and weekly routines to keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
