Job summary

Potters Resorts Five Lakes in Maldon, United Kingdom, is seeking a Restaurant Team Member for a part-time, weekend-based role (20–30 hours per week). Your shifts cover Friday evenings and Monday mornings with split service across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

As part of the restaurant team you will deliver warm, friendly service, serve meals and drinks, set and clear tables, maintain high cleanliness standards and gain knowledge of dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to assist with dietary or allergen requirements.
• Work as a team to ensure exceptional service at each meal.

Job Description

Part Time – 20 to 30 hours per week

This is a regular weekend-based role, so you’ll need to be available to work every:

• Friday evening
• Monday morning

Your hours will be worked across our restaurant service periods, with split shifts covering breakfast, lunch and dinner as required:

Breakfast: 7:45am – 11:30am
Lunch: 12:15pm – 3:00pm
Dinner: 6:15pm – 10:00pm

About the Role:

As a Restaurant Team Member, you'll play an important part in creating a fantastic dining experience for our guests. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll deliver exceptional service across breakfast, lunch and dinner, helping to make every guest's stay memorable.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering warm, friendly and professional customer service.
• Serving food and drinks during breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Preparing restaurant areas for service, including setting, clearing and relaying tables.
• Polishing cutlery, crockery and glassware to ensure the highest presentation standards.

• Developing a good knowledge of the resort so you can confidently assist our guests.
• Attending training to build your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and service standards.
• Working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Rates of Pay

• £12.71 per hour – Age 21+
• £10.85 per hour – Age 18–20

Qualifications

Although previous waiting experience is not essential, it would be advantageous.

We are looking for candidates that can:

• Build rapport with our guests and help them to feel welcome and enjoy their stay
• Have the necessary knowledge to assist with any dietary or allergen requirements
• Work as a team to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service at each meal throughout their stay
• Use attention to detail to ensure that your work-station is kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Ensure that you attend all relevant training sessions so that you can work to the best of your ability
• Promote teamwork by establishing strong working relationships with those around you by treating your colleagues with respect
