Job summary

University of Cambridge, Department of Psychology, is hiring a part-time Research Grants Administrator to join a busy grants portfolio. You will support pre-award and post-award activities and act as the first point of contact for grant queries, coordinating with finance and HR.

With strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach, you will help ensure compliance with funder and university requirements while supporting researchers across the full lifecycle of research funding.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a research, higher education, finance, accounting or grant management environment.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with bespoke financial, grant or reporting systems is desirable.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK as per University policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support across the full lifecycle of research grants (pre-award and post-award).
• Act as first point of contact for grant-related queries from researchers and professional services (finance and HR).
• Develop close working relationships with academic staff and the University's Research Operations Office to ensure compliant, efficient grant delivery.
