Job summary

Think Accountancy & Finance are supporting a market-leading global business in Hemel Hempstead by recruiting an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator on a temporary, part-time basis for around 6 months.

The role is 20 hours per week across 5 mornings with the option to work from home 2 days per week. You’ll support day-to-day AR processes and help maintain smooth cash and ledger activity.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Cash Allocation is essential.
• Proficient Excel skills for reporting and spreadsheets are required.

Responsibilities

• Allocate customer payments - match money received to the correct customer/invoices.
• Deal with BACS/direct debit receipts and ensure accurate posting.
• Investigate unallocated cash.
• Handle payment queries with customers and internal departments.
• Process contra journals.
• Data entry and finance administration.
• Manage a high volume of transactions with accuracy.
• Use Excel confidently for reporting and analysis.
