Job summary

Kingston Vets in Yeovil and Sherborne is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the clinical team on a part-time basis. You will support veterinary surgeons, deliver high-quality nursing care, and contribute to excellent client experiences.

You will work across Yeovil and Sherborne, providing nursing care for first opinion cases, with a focus on development and maintaining high standards. A supportive team and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Clinical practice experience, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assisting our Veterinary Surgeons in theatre and consultations.
• Responsibility for inpatient care.
• Monitoring anaesthetics.
• Assisting with patient admits and discharges.
• Carrying out nurse consultations.
