RVN position at East of England Veterinary Specialists – Wimpole, Royston, Cambridgeshire

12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover. 28.5‑hour week, 3 to 4 day shifts Monday to Friday.

Overview

We are a small‑animal orthopaedic specialist referral centre seeking a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, positive team. The role rotates through Ward Nursing, Imaging and Theatre, including anaesthesia in Prep and Theatre with local regional blocks.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Ward, Imaging and Theatre departments.
• Perform anaesthesia and local regional blocks during Prep and Theatre procedures.
• Support clinical procedures and patient care in a specialist referral environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience in a referral setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong commitment to professional development and high‑standard clinical care.
