Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Manor Farm Vets near Warminster on a part-time basis. The role focuses on high-quality nursing care, anaesthetic monitoring and client education within a first opinion small animal practice.

The team operates in a well-equipped clinic with dental X-ray, ultrasound and onsite lab. You will be RCVS-registered with clinical experience and strong communication to support clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS (RCVS registration).
• Experience in clinical practice and in medical/surgical nursing.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinary Surgeons during surgical procedures.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Manor Farm Vets on a part-time basis.

We are a small animal, first opinion practice set in the rural, idyllic location of Codford near Warminster. Our beautiful purpose built practice is set up and well equipped to see our clients and care for their pets, from puppy and kitten, through to senior years. We have Dental Xray as well as standard Xray, ultrasound, Onsite Lab and Laser therapy.

Our amazing and longstanding team deliver an outstanding service to our clients and we take our time to ensure thorough care. We offer a pet health club which many of our clients take up. Nurse clinics are an important part of the practice and of huge value to our clients. We also have a visiting ophthalmologist and Cardiologist monthly or as needed

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 34 hours per week, worked over 3 or 4 days
• Monday, Tuesday and Friday working pattern, with the option to choose an additional day if you prefer a 4-day week.
• 1:4 Fridays: 8:00am-7:00pm, alongside 1:4 Saturday mornings: 8:00am-1:00pm.
• No Sundays or out-of-hours requirements

General Responsibilities

• Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during surgical procedures
• Running nurse clinics and providing client education
• General nursing duties, including maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Anaesthetic monitoring and perioperative patient care
