Job summary

Priory Hospital Cardiff is recruiting a Registered Psychologist to join the Allied Health Professionals and Psychology team. The part-time role is 22.5 hours per week, with an actual salary between £28,950 and £31,350 per annum.

You will deliver staff training, conduct psychological risk assessments, and provide evidence-based individual and group interventions. You’ll receive supervision from a supportive psychology team and have access to ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification in psychology is required.
• HCPC Registration with the HCPC as a Registered Psychologist is required.
• Experience with complex clients and supporting staff teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver staff training and reflective practice sessions to support clinical excellence across the service.
• Complete psychological risk assessments and contribute to effective risk management planning.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions tailored to the needs of the patient population.
• Receive peer support and supervision from an established psychology team.
• Use a creative and compassionate approach to enhance the quality of life and recovery outcomes for patients.
• Support individuals as they progress through their recovery journey toward less restrictive environments.
