Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) to support residents in a care home setting. The role involves creating care plans, administering medicines safely, and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

The post is a 23-hour contract per week with mixed day and night shifts. You will work in a supportive environment that values clinical judgement and compassionate care for residents with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and up-to-date clinical practices.
• Experience producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored care plans for residents.
• Provide medicines safely and administer treatments.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support.
• Create a safe, supportive environment for residents with physical/mental needs.
• Apply professional judgement to clinical decisions and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
