Job description

We are recruiting for a temporary Part-Time Recruitment Administrator to work for a prestigious Stevenage-based organisation.

This is a part-time role working 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, totaling 20 hours per week.

The contract is for a minimum of 2 months, with the possibility of extension.

This is a hybrid role, working 1 to 2 days a week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. IT equipment will be provided.

The successful candidate must live close to the office in Stevenage.

You will join the busy Recruitment team and have the following duties:

  1. Logging job applications received to the Recruitment inbox
  2. Reviewing applications for Right to Work, prerequisites, and travel information
  3. Contacting candidates to discuss employment gaps
  4. Updating the candidate tracker
  5. Updating hiring managers with application statuses
  6. Supporting interview arrangements
  7. Creating interview packs
  8. Filing documents to e-files
  9. Adding data to the HR Information System
  10. Responding to emails as required

Person Specification:

  • Ideally have a background in HR or Recruitment, but this is flexible
  • Live within a commutable distance of Stevenage, Herts
  • Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail
  • Proficient in IT and quick to learn new systems
  • Good team player and able to work independently
