Job summary

Earlsdon Park Village, part of the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, invites applications for a part-time Receptionist to join our friendly team. The role is 21 hours per week with shifts 8:00am–5:00pm on Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday, plus occasional weekend hours on a two-week rota. Salary is £13.45 per hour in Coventry.

The receptionist provides a welcoming service, handles calls, and supports housing management services for residents and visitors. Closing date: 16 October 2026.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors in a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming manner.
• Provide a friendly and helpful telephone service.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors are accounted for in emergencies.
• Support Housing Support team with enhanced housing management services as appropriate.
• Keep reception tidy and report shortfalls.
• Set up meeting room bookings and manage records.
• Take messages for staff or residents and relay them.
• Train residents, volunteers, or others to provide a competent service.
