As the initial contact point of the college, you will deliver a courteous and efficient counter and phone service to external customers, students, and staff.The role entails operating digital phones/switchboard, a central radio system, a postal franking machine along with using various databases and maintaining manual and electronic records. Full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will:• Have demonstrable experience of working in a busy frontline environment.• Possess a strong customer focus along with a “can-do” attitude.• Have excellent communication skills.• Be competent in the use of the full range of Microsoft applications (word/excel/outlook and calendar)• Have good organisation and team-working skills.• Possess GCSE English and Maths at level C/4 or above or equivalent.We require a degree of flexibility from the successful candidate who can offer additional hours to cover planned annual leave and sickness.We have one post available for 22 hours over 3 days per week, 52 weeks per year.This post is based at the Sparsholt campus.
